Vineyards

As a founding member of VINEA, the Wine Growers Sustainable Trust, Nicholas Cole Cellars owner, Mike Neuffer, seeks out and works with only the states finest growers.

Neuffer Estate

After viticulture studies at UC Davis and with the help and advice of local vineyard owners, Mike Neuffer planted his 42 acre Vineyard in 2001 with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Syrah and Sangiovese. Sonoma based vineyard consultant, Daniel Roberts was later enlisted and the vineyard was further fine tuned with the goal to produce the best fruit possible from this exceptional hillside site. With elevations of nearly 1300 feet and a predominately south facing slope, Neuffer Estate Vineyards, located at the foot of the Blue Mountains is destined to produce some of the highest quality fruit in the Walla Walla Valley. Superior block design, 2 o’clock row planting, close spacing, state of the art irrigation and exceptionally low yield harvests all contribute to extremely complex flavor profiles in the fruit.

Klipsun

Founded by Patricia and David Gelles in 1982, Klipsun Vineyard is known for producing amazingly intense and greatly desired grapes. Located on Red Mountain in the Tri-Cities area, this vineyard is one of the highest regarded in Washington State. Adding to the perception already long established by the region's most exquisite wineries, Wine & Spirits magazine selected Klipsun Vineyard as one of the top 25 vineyards in the world.

Champoux

For close to 30 years this vineyard, located in Alderdale, WA, has been producing the grapes used in some of Washington's most anticipated and revered wines. The owners, Paul and Judy Champoux, rely on a mixture of science, experience and intuition to nurture their 170 acres of vines throughout the year. The result is a beautiful, sweet fruit, profound in flavor and brimming with elegance.

Canoe Ridge

Canoe Ridge Vineyard produces distinctive grapes, ripened to an absolute maturity and flushed with a refined sweetness. Situated on the northern bank of the Columbia River, Canoe Ridge's 150 plus acres of vines thrive lusciously due to the adaptive conditions of the river; fending off frost in the winter and sourcing cooler climates in the warmer months.

Seven Hills

With over 200 acres of vines, Seven Hills Vineyard boasts varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Grand Vidure, Sangiovese, Sémillon, Syrah and Viognier; all meticulously monitored by state of the art technology. By providing fruit to a number of Washington’s choice wineries, Seven Hills has long established itself as one of the best in the state.

Pepper Bridge

Using similar technologically advanced methods as Seven Hills Vineyard, including moisture monitors, weather statistics and an extensive computer tracking system, Pepper Bridge is devoted to providing superior grapes to Washington’s premier winemakers. Intricate and sustainable agricultural practices result in bold, complex and highly sought after fruit.

DuBrul

Located in the Rattlesnake Hills of Yakima Valley, DuBrul Vineyard offers up some of the area’s highest quality grapes. A terrain of rocky soil, volcanic ash and high elevation, along with devotion to high quality, make for a supple and uniquely flavorful fruit.
