2006 GraEagle Cab Franc
Cabernet Franc is famous in Bordeaux, think Cheval Blanc or as it is showcased in Anjou-Touraine in the Loire. It grows exceptionally well in Washington State, so much so that wine maker Mike Neuffer decided to show off its beauty. Known to be light to medium in body with an immediate fruit character and a marked fragrance, this wine is no exception. The terrior in Walla Walla ads a little something to the nose not seen in the old world, and we are quite fond of it.
